ဘတ်ရိုက်ရမလား? ED လျှောက်ရမလား? Extension ပဲတိုးပြီး နေရမလား?

Choosing a long-term visa is always a headache for those who want to stay in Thailand for a long time after coming for various reasons. We will focus on the Non-B (work permit), Ed visa, Pink card, and TR extensions as the most suitable long-term visas for young people.

Tourist visa extension

The Tourist visa extension is not a good long-term visa because it is flexible and easy. I am talking about extending the TR visa for another 30 days because the 60 days have expired. The TR visa can be extended to 5 times normally. So, basically, with a visa plus extensions, you can stay for 7 months. You have to go to the immigration office every month, though. You may encounter delays because of many extensions when you want to change to other visas. The TR visa extension fee is 1900 baht for 30 days.

Pink card

The pink card is for people who enter Thailand without a visa due to some circumstances. For those coming in from down the road, it's an absolutely great opportunity to stay long-term. Another thing is that you have a job that is not related to education (a job that does not require a degree). If you enter and work in factories, you can also get the pink card. But if you don't have a passport, you can't travel to another country even though you have the pink card.

Or you have a degree and relevant experience to get a white-collar job, and if you want to try for that kind of job, you shouldn't get the pink card. Especially if you are going to work in the IT sector, you should not get the pink card. The pink card visa is Non-LA, which is for a general worker and not for professionals. One of the good things about getting a pink card is that the cost is quite low. But one problem is that the Thai government does not say exactly when we can get the pink card, so there is always a lot of waiting.

ED Visa

ED visas are issued to those who are going to study at a university or a diploma program. Some language programs also offer an Ed visa. An ed visa is given from 7 to 15 months. If you have more than 45 days left on your tourist visa or just 30 days left, you can apply for an Ed visa. This is the visa you should choose for those who are still looking for white-collar jobs and have not yet found a job.

It is also suitable for those who work with remote jobs. One thing is that Ed visas are a bit expensive. A language program in Bangkok costs at least 40,000 baht. If it's not a university language program, you have to go to immigration every 3 months. It costs 1900 baht per immigration.

Non-B + Work Permit

If you have work-relevant experience and a degree, the best is a Non-B + Work permit. The Non-B visa is also referred to as a white-collar job visa. You must have at least a Bachelor's or Diploma degree. Work experience must be at least 3 years in the relevant field.

If so, you can apply for a work permit from the company that employs you. You can't apply for a work permit on your own; you have to apply for it through the company. Without a degree, you'll need to have more than 5 years of experience to get a work permit. Except for that, I don't know the other ways to get a Non-B + work permit.

Tourist visa extension

Toursit visa extension တိုးတာကတော့ ရေရှည်နေလို့ ကောင်းတဲ့ ဗီဇာတော့ မဟုတ်ပါဘူး။ TR visa ရက် ၆၀ ကုန်သွားလို့ ရက် ၃၀ ထပ်ထပ်ပြီး သက်တမ်းတိုးတာကို ပြောတာပါ။ E-extension အနေနဲ့ tr visa ကို ၅ ကြိမ်လောက်တော့ တိုးလို့ရပါတယ်။ ဆိုတော့ အကြမ်းအားဖြင့် tr visa ++ နဲ့ဆို ၇ လနေလို့ ရမယ်ဆိုတဲ့ သဘောပါ။ တစ်လ တစ်လ immigration office တော့ သွားရပါမယ်။ နောက်ထပ် တခြား visa တွေ ပြောင်းချင်တဲ့အချိန်မှာ အရစ်ခံရတတ်တာတို့ ရှိတတ်ပါတယ်။ ရက် ၃၀ သက်တမ်း တိုးရင် ၁၉၀၀ ဘတ် ပေးရပါတယ်။

ဘတ်ရိုက်

ဘတ်ရိုက်တာကတော့ အခြေအနေ တစ်ခုခုကြောင့် ထိုင်းနိုင်ငံကို visa မပါဘဲနဲ့ ဝင်လာတဲ့သူတွေ၊ အောက်လမ်းကနေ ဝင်လာတဲ့သူတွေအတွက် ရေရှည်နေဖို့ လုံးဝ အခွင့်အရေးကောင်း တစ်ခုပါ။ နောက်တစ်ခုက ကိုယ်က ဒီပညာရေးပိုင်းနဲ့ မသက်ဆိုင်တဲ့အလုပ်မျိုး (ဘွဲ့လက်မှတ် မလိုတဲ့အလုပ်မျိုး)၊ စက်ရုံ အလုပ်ရုံ တွေမှာ ဝင်ရောက် လုပ်ကိုင်မယ် ဆိုရင်လည်း ဘတ်ရိုက်လို့ရပါတယ်။ Passport မရှိပဲနဲ့ ဘတ်ရိုက်မယ်ဆိုရင်တောင် တခြား တစ်နိုင်ငံကို ကူးလို့ မရပါဘူး။ ဒါမှမဟုတ် ကိုယ်က ပညာအရည်အချင်းနဲ့ အလုပ်လုပ်မည့်သူ ဘွဲ့ရ သို့မဟုတ် အတွေ့အကြုံနဲ့ white collar အလုပ်ကို ရနိုင်တယ်၊ လျောက်ချင်တယ် ဆိုရင်တော့ ဘတ်မရိုက် သင့်ပါဘူး။

အထူးသဖြင့် IT sector မှာ အလုပ်လုပ်မည့်သူဆိုရင် ဘတ်မရိုက် သင့်ပါဘူး။ ဘာလို့လဲဆိုတော့ ဘတ်ရိုက်တာက Non-LA ဗီဇာကို ပေးတာပါ၊ Non-LA ဗီဇာကိုတော့ အထွေထွဗ အလုပ်သမားတွေကို ပေးတဲ့ ဗီဇာအမျိုးအဖစား ဖြစ်နေလို့ပါ။ ဘတ်ရိုက်တာရဲ့ ကောင်းတာ တစ်ခုက ကုန်ကျစရိတ် တော်တော်လေးကို နည်းပါတယ်။ ဒါပေမယ့် ပြသနာတစ်ခုက ထိုင်းအစိုးရဘက်က ဘတ်ဖွင့်ပေးတဲ့ချိန်ကို အတိအကျကြိုမပြောထားတော့ မျော်တလင့်လင့်နဲ့စောင့်ဆိုင်းနေရတာမျိုး အမြဲတမ်း ဖြစ်တတ်ပါတယ်။

ED Visa

ED visa ကတော့ University ပဲ ဖြစ်ဖြစ်၊ Diploma ပဲဖြစ်ဖြစ် ကျောင်းတက်မည့်သူတွေကို ပေးတဲ့ visa ပါ။ တစ်ချို့ Language program တွေကလည်း Ed visa ပေးပါတယ်။ Ed visa ကတော့ ၇ လကနေ ၁၅ လအထိ ပေးကြပါတယ်။ ကိုယ့်မှာ Tourist visa နဲ့ ၄၅ ရက်ကျော်ကျန်သေးတယ် (သို့) ရက် ၃၀ ကျန််ရုံနဲ့ Ed visa လျှောက်လို့ ရပါတယ်။

ကိုယ်က white collar အလုပ်တွေ ရှာနေဆဲ အလုပ်တော့ မရသေးဘူး ဆိုသူတွေအတွက်လည်း ရွေးချင်သင့်တဲ့ visa ပါ။ ဒါမှမဟုတ် remote job နဲ့ အလုပ်လုပ်နေတဲ့သူတွေ အတွက်လည်း သင့်တော်ပါတယ်။ တစ်ခု ရှိတာက Ed visa တွေက နည်းနည်းတော့ ဈေးကြီးပါတယ်။ ဘန်ကောက်မှာ Language program တစ်ခုကို အနည်းဆုံး ဘတ် ၄ သောင်းလောက် ရှိပါတယ်။ University Language program မဟုတ်ရင်တော့ ၃ လတစ်ကြိမ် immigration သွားရမှာပါ။ ဘတ် ၁၉၀၀ ကုန်ပါတယ်။

Non-B + Work Permit

ကိုယ့်မှာ ပညာအရည်အချင်းရှိတယ်၊ လုပ်ငန်းအတွေ့အကြုံလည်း ရှိတယ် ဆိုရင် အကောင်းဆုံးကတော့ Non-B + Work permit ပါပဲ။ သူ့ကိုတော့ white collar job အနေနဲ့ သက်မှတ်ပါတယ်။ ပညာအချင်းဆိုတာ အနည်းဆုံး Bachelor (သို့) Diploma ဘွဲ့ တစ်ခုခုတော့ ရှိထားရပါမယ်။ လုပ်ငန်းအတွေ့အကြုံဆိုတာကလည်း သက်ဆိုင်ရာ နယ်ပယ်မှာ အနည်းဆုံး ၃ နှစ်ကျော် ရှိရပါမယ်။ အဲ့လိုဆိုရင်တော့ work permit ကို ကိုယ့်ကို အလုပ်ခန့်တဲ့ company ဘက်က လျှောက်ပေး ရပါတယ်။

Work permit ကို ကိုယ့်ဘာသာ လျှောက်လို့ မရပါဘူး company ဘက်ကပဲ လျှောက်ပေးရတာပါ။ ကိုယ့်မှာ ဘွဲ့လက်မှတ်မရှိဘူး၊ အတွေ့အကြုံ ၅ နှစ်ကျော်တယ်ဆိုရင်လည်း work permit ရနိုင်ပါတယ်။ ကျန်တဲ့နည်းနဲ့ Non-B + work permit ရနိုင်တဲ့ နည်းလမ်း ကျနော်တော့ မသိသေးပါဘူးခင်ဗျ။
