Buses, trains, and boats are used as public transportation in Bangkok. All three are cheap. It depends on where you go, just pick it up. This time I would like to tell you how to take the train.

BTS - sky train, MRT - subway train, and there are trains on land. The land trains are used to travel long distances from city to city. You can use the land train to go from Bangkok to Pattaya or Chiang Mai. BTS and MRT run in Bangkok. Most trains in Bangkok take 3-6 minutes between one to the next train and run from 6:30 AM to 12 AM midnight. The trains are crowded with the office's attendance between 7am to 9am and 4pm to 7pm.
Now, we're going to focus on MRT and BTS only. I use the applications below.

There are many other applications. In this app, all you need to do is just pick the starting train station and destination station. It'll show all of the possible routes to go to the destination. So, you just need to pick the closest station to the destination station.

The train tickets could be purchased on the counter at the train station. There is also a machine that can be purchased next to it.

It's easy to buy on the machine. Select English mode, once you choose the destination station, it will show you the train fare. You can insert a maximum of 100 baht cash or you can just insert a coin. If you're not sure how to use the vending machine you can just ask the nearby securities.

If you want to go throughout the whole day by train, no problem. You can just buy a One-Day Pass: You can take any BTS and MRT train for the entire day for 150 baht. You can also buy a BTS Rabbit card for those who are using BTS. Rabbit cards can last up to 7 years from the date of issue. It can be top-up from at least 100 baht to 4,000 baht. You can make a rabbit card at the train station counter by just giving your passport. With your rabbit card, you don't need to buy whenever you need to take the BTS.

After purchasing the train ticket, just scan the ticket to go to the terminal. Keep your ticket carefully because when you leave from your destination station, you'll need to put the ticket to the terminal.

ဘန်ကောက်မှာ အများသုံးသယ်ယူပို့ဆောင်ရေး အနေနဲ့ စက်လှေ၊ ဘတ်စ်ကားနဲ့ ရထားကို အသုံးများပါတယ်။ သုံးခုစလုံးက ဈေးသက်သောင့် သက်သာ ရှိပါတယ်၊ ကိုယ်သွားမယ့်နေရာပေါ် မူတည်ပြီးတော့ အဆင်ပြေတဲ့ဟာ ကြည့်ရွေးလိုက်ရုံပါပဲ။ ဒီတစ်ခါတော့ ရထားစီးနည်းကို ပြောချင်ပါတယ်။

အကျဥ်းအားဖြင့် BTS - မိုးပျံရထား, MRT - မြေအောက်ရထား နဲ့ ကုန်းပေါ် (မြေပေါ်) ရထား ဆိုပြီး ရှိပါတယ်။ ကုန်းပေါ်ရထားတော့ ခရီးဝေး သွားချင်တဲ့အခါ သုံးပါတယ်၊ ပတ္တရား သွားတာတို့၊ ချင်းမိုင် သွားတာတို့မှာ သုံးလို့ ရပါတယ်။ BTS နဲ့ MRT ကတော့ ဘန်ကောက် ထဲမှာ ပြေးပါတယ်။ 3-6 minutes တိုင်းရထားအသစ်တစ်စီး ဆိုက်ရောက်ပြီး 6:30am -12am ကြားပြေးဆွဲပါတယ်။ ရထားတွေက မနက် 7am to 9am နဲ့ 4pm to 7pm ကြား ရုံးတက်ရုံးဆင်းတွေနဲ့ ပြည့်ကျပ် နေတတ်ပါတယ်။

အခုပြောမှာကလည်း BTS နဲ့ MRT စီးနည်းပါ။ ကျနော်ကတော့ အောက်က applications ကို သုံးပါတယ်။

တခြား application တွေလည်းအများကြီး ရှိပါတယ်။ ဒီ app မှာဆိုရင်တော့ အကြိုက်ဆုံးတော့ ဘယ်ကနေ ဘယ်ကို သွားချင်လဲ ဆိုတာ ရွေးလိုက်ရုံနဲ့ ဘယ် ရထားလိုင်းကနေ ဘယ်ရထားလိုင်းကို ဘယ်မှာ ပြောင်းရမယ် ဆိုတာတွေ အတိအကျ ပြပေးလို့ပါ။ ဆိုတော့ ကိုယ်နေတဲ့ နေရာနဲ့အနီးစပ်ဆုံးက ဘူတာရုံကနေ သွားချင်တဲ့နေရာ ဘူတာရုံကို ထောက်လိုက်ရုံပါပဲ။

ရထားလက်မှတ်တွေကတော့ ဘူတာရုံရောက်မှ ကောင်တာမှာ ဝယ်လို့ ရသလို၊ ဘေးနားမှာ လက်မှတ် ဝယ်လို့ရတဲ့ စက်လည်း ရှိပါတယ်။

စက်မှာ ဝယ်တာလည်း လွယ်ပါတယ်။ English စာကို ရွေးပါ၊ သွားမည့် မှတ်တိုင်ကို ရွေးလိုက်တာနဲ့ ကုန်ကျငွေ ပြပေးပါလိမ့်မယ်။ Cash အရွက်နဲ့ ပေးလို့ရသလို၊ coin နဲ့လည်း ပေးလို့ရပါတယ်။ စစချင်း စက်နဲ့ မဝယ်တတ်ရင်လည်း ဘေးနားမှာ security တွေ ရှိပါတယ် မေးလို့ ရပါတယ်။

အဲ့လိုမဟုတ်ဘူး ကိုယ်က တစ်နေကုန်လျှောက်သွားချင်တယ်ဆိုရင်လည်း One-day Pass - တစ်ရက်လုံးကို 150 ဖြင့် Unlimited သွားလာနိုင်ပါတယ်။ BTS အသုံးပြုပြီးသွားလာနေတဲ့သူတွေအတွက် BTS Rabbit cards ကိုလည်း ဝယ်လို့ရပါတယ်။ Rabbit Card တွေကတော့ ထုတ်ပေးတဲ့နေ့ကစပြီး 7 နှစ်အထိအသုံးပြုနိုင်ပါတယ်။ အနည်းဆုံး 100 ဘတ်ကနေ 4,000 ဘတ်အထိ ဖြည့်ထားလို့ရပါတယ်။ ရထားဘူတာက လက်မှတ်ကောင်တာ မှာ Passport ပြပြီးတော့ Rabbit Card လုပ်လို့ရပါတယ်။ Rabbit Card ကတော့ လက်မှတ်ဝယ်တဲ့အခါ တန်းစီစရာမလိုဘဲ ပိုက်ဆံလိုသလောက်ဖြည့်ထားပြီး စီးလို့ရပါတယ်။

လက်မှတ် ရပြီးရင်တော့ terminal ကိုသွားဖို့ လက်မှတ်ကို scan ဖြတ်ပြီး သွားရုံပါ။ လက်မှတ်ကို သေချာသိမ်းထားပါ ရထားက ပြန်ဆင်းတဲ့အချိန်မှာ terminal က ထွက်ဖို့ scan ဖက်တဲ့ စက်ထဲ ပြန်ထည့်ရမှာပါ။
