If you are going to get a letter of recommendation from the embassy, go there before 8:00 a.m. After submitting the necessary documents, you will receive the letter of recommendation at 4:00 PM. So you'll need to spend your whole day there. Or you can get a service from an agency; the service fee will be around 300 - 500 baht. The advantage is that there is no need to spend your whole day. Starting in September 2024, to get the embassy endorsement letter, you need to provide a TM30, and if you're a PJ passport holder, you also need to pay the tax. You need to pay 150 baht per month for tax, and you can also pay 1650 baht for the whole year at once. PV passport holders don't need to pay the tax.
The documents required to issue an embassy endorsement
- 150 baht deposit receipt
- Passport copy
- visa stamped page copy
- TM30 (starting from Sept. 2024, you need to provide TM30 too)
If you forget any required documents, you can go to Soi 12 Road near the embassy; there is a copier service inside the car.
The embassy opens at 8 AM, so it's best to arrive before that time. Before entering the embassy, I was given an account to deposit the 150 baht endorsement fee, which said: "to pay the booking fee and endorsement fee". There is a Bangkok Bank just around the corner from the Myanmar Embassy on East Road. If you go there and say you want to deposit 150 baht into the Myanmar Embassy account, they'll issue you a paper. Just write your passport number and phone number on the paper and pay. After depositing money, they'll return a deposit receipt, take that, and enter the embassy again.
Go inside and get your token number at the counter at the entrance. Then sit and wait in front of counter 5, and when your number arrives, just hand over the documents. They will tell you to come back at 4 PM. In the meantime, you can go somewhere. Or you can wait inside.
When it's 4 PM, you can take a token number at the counter and give your name.

သံရုံးထောက်ခံစာ ယူမယ်ဆိုရင်တော့ မနက် ၈ နာရီမထိုးခင်လောက်သွားပြီး လိုအပ်တဲ့ စာရွက်စာတမ်းတွေတင်ပြီးရင် ညနေ ၄ နာရီ ထောက်ခံစာရပါတယ်။ ဆိုတော့ တစ်နေကုန်တော့ အချိန်ပေးရပါတယ်။ ပွဲစားအပ်လိုက်ရင်တော့ ဝန်ဆောင်ခ ၃၀၀ - ၅၀၀ ဘတ် လောက် ကုန်ပါမယ်၊ အချိန်တော့ မကုန်တော့ဘူးပေါ့။ ဒါကတော့ သံရုံးလိပ်စာပါ၊ လင့်နှိပ်ရန်။
၂၀၂၄ စက်တင်ဘာလက စပြီး TM30 နဲ့ passport pj ဆိုရင် အခွန်ဆောင်စာရွက် လိုပါတယ်။ အခွန်ဆောင်တာကတော့ တစ်လကို ၁၅၀ ဘတ် ဆောင်ရမှာ ဖြစ်ပြီးတော့ တစ်နှစ်စာ ၁၆၅၀ ဘတ်နဲ့ တခါတည်း ဆောင်လို့ရပါတယ်။ Passport pv သမားတွေကတော့ အခွန်ဆောင်ဖို့ မလိုပါဘူး။
သံရုံးထောက်ခံစာထုတ်ဖို့ လိုအပ်တဲ့ စာရွက်စာတမ်းတွေက
- ၁၅၀ ဘတ် သွင်းပြီးကြောင်း ငွေသွင်းပြေစာ
- Passport မိတ္တူ
- Passport (visa တုံး ထုထားတဲ့ စာမျက်နှာ) မိတ္တူ
- TM30 (Sept. 2024 ကနေ စပြီးတော့ TM30 ထပ်တိုးလိုအပ်ပါတယ်)
သံရုံးနားက Soi 12 လမ်းကြားမှာ ကားလေးနဲ့ မိတ္တူကူး၊ စာရွက်စာတမ်းဘာညာဝယ်လို့ ရတဲ့ဆိုင်လေးလည်း ဖွင့်ထားပါတယ်။
သံရုံးက ၈ နာရီဖွင့်လို့ အဲ့အချိန်မတိုင်ခင် ရောက်အောင်သွားတာ အကောင်းဆုံးပါ။ သံရုံးထဲ မဝင်ခင်မှာ "စာအုပ်ဖိုးနှင့် ထောက်ခံစာဖိုး ပေးသွင်းရန်" ဆိုပြီး ကပ်ထားတဲ့ ထောက်ခံစာကြေး ၁၅၀ ဘတ် သွင်းရမယ့်အကောင့် ပေးထားပါတယ်။ မြန်မာသံရုံးရဲ့အရှေ့လမ်း မျက်စောင်းထိုးနားလောက်မှာ Bangkok Bank ရှိပါတယ်။ အဲ့ကိုသွားပြီးတော့ Myanmar Embassy အကောင့်ထဲ ၁၅၀ ဘတ် သွင်းချင်လို့ပါပြောလိုက်ရင် သူတို့ စာရွက်လေးထုတ်ပေးတယ်။ အဲ့စာရွက်မှာ ကိုယ့်ရဲ့ Passport နံပါတ်ရယ် ဖုန်းနံပါတ်ရယ်ရေးပြီး ပိုက်ဆံပေးလိုက်ရုံပဲ။ ငွေသွင်းပြီးရင် သူတို့ ငွေသွင်းပြေစာလေးပြန်ပေးပါတယ်၊ အဲ့တာလေးကို ယူပြီး သံရုံးထဲကို ဝင်လိုက်ပါ။
အထဲဝင်ပြီး အပေါက်ဝက ကောင်တာမှာ တုံကင်နံပါတ် ယူလိုက်ပါ။ ပြီးရင် counter 5 ရှေ့မှာ ထိုင်စောင့်ပြီးတော့ ကိုယ့်နံပါတ်ရောက်ရင် စာရွက်စာတမ်းတွေပေးလိုက်ရုံပါပဲ။ ညနေ ၄ နာရီ ပြန်လာယူဖို့ပြောလိမ့်မယ်။ ဒီကြားထဲ တစ်နေရာရာသွားချင်လည်းသွား၊ ဒါမှမဟုတ် အထဲမှာစောင့်ချင်လည်းစောင့်လို့ ရပါတယ်။
ညနေ ၄ နာရီ ထိုးရင်တော့ အပေါက်ဝကောင်တာမှာ တိုကင်နံပါတ်လေး ယူပြီးတော့ ကိုယ့်နာမည်ပြော ယူလို့ ရပါပြီ။
