လာအို Savannakhet မှာ Tourist visa လျောက်နည်း

Here are the documents required for a TR Visa

• Passport copy (Bio page & Laos entry page)
• Hotel booking
• Flight ticket return (Thailand to Myanmar)
• Bank statement for 3 months
• Visa fee: 1000 Baht

You can take a train or car to go to Mukdahan (Savannakhet) from Bangkok. If you go by train, it's a little far and you can ride quite a bit. A car is more comfortable. If you take a night drive from Mochit, you will reach Mukdahan early in the morning.

When you've arrived in Mukdahan, go to the Thailand border checkpoint from the bus station and get the checkout visa stamp. You can take a bus to cross the Friendship Bridge. When you get there, you can get an entry stamp at the Lao immigration office. After going through immigration, you can just rent a car and go to your hotel.

I went to the embassy by 9 o'clock on the day of the appointment. Show the appointment email at the embassy. When you get inside, just give the Visa fee of 1000 baht + Passport and necessary information. The office will take those and issue a slip with the date to return the passport. Then just get back.

The time to issue the passport is from 1:30 to 4:30. When you go through Laos immigration after issuing your passport, give the form given to you when you arrive, along with 20 baht + your passport. Then, take a bus to Thailand. In the Thai immigration, they'll ask for a Thai phone number and where you would be staying in Thailand. After going through immigration, go to the train station and just take the train ticket (if you want to return with the train).

Savaanakhet သွားမယ်ဆိုရင် ဘန်ကောက်ကနေ Mukdahan ကို ရထား (သို့) ကားစီးလို့ရပါတယ်။ ရထားနဲ့သွားမယ်ဆို နည်းနည်းဝေးတော့ တော်တော်လေး စီးရပါတယ်။ ကားနဲ့ဆို ပိုပြီး သက်သောင့်သက်သာ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ Mochit ကနေ ညပိုင်း ကားစီးသွားရင် Mukdahan ကို မနက်စောစောရောက်ပါတယ်။

မနက် ကားဂိတ်ကနေ Thailand border checkpoint ကိုသွားပြီး အဲ့မှာ အထွက်တုံးထုရပါတယ်။ ချစ်ကြည်ရေးတံတားကို ဖြတ်ဖို့ ဘတ်စ် စီးရပါတယ်။ ဟိုဘက်ရောက်ရင် လာအို immigration မှာ အဝင်တုံးထုရပါတယ်။ Immigration ဖြတ်ပြီးရင်တော့ ကိုယ်တည်း ဟိုတယ်ကို ကားငှားသွားလိုက်ယုံပါပဲ။

Appointment နေ့ကျ သံရုံးကို 9 နာရီ အရောက်သွားပါတယ်။ သံရုံးမှာ appointmet email ကို ပြပြီး ဝင်လိုက်ပါ။ အထဲရောက်ရင် Visa fee ဘတ် ၁၀၀၀ + Passport နှင့် လိုအပ်တဲ့အချက်အလက်တွေ ပေးလိုက်ရုံပါပဲ။ ရုံးက အဲ့ဒါတွေယူထားပြီး Passport ပြန်လာယူရမယ့် ရက်စွဲ ပါတဲ့ စလစ်လေး ထုတ်ပေးပါလိမ့်မယ်။ ပြီးရင် ပြန်ရုံပါပဲ။

Passport ပြန်ထုတ်ရမယ့်အချိန်က ၁နာရီခွဲကနေ ၄နာရီခွဲထိပါ။ Passport ထုတ်ပြီး အပြန်မှာ Laos immigration ဖြတ်တဲ့အခါ အလာတုန်းက ပေးထားတဲ့ form တစ်ပိုင်းကို ဘတ် ၂၀ + passport နှင့်အတူ ပေးလိုက်ပါ။ ပြီးရင် ထိုင်းဘက်ကို ဘတ်စ် ကား စီးပြီး ကူးလိုက်ပါ။ Thai immigration ဖြတ်တဲ့အခါ ထိုင်းဖုန်း နဲ့ ထိုင်းမှာ နေမယ့်နေရာ မေးပါတယ်။ Immigration ဖြတ်ပြီးရင်တော့ ရထားဘူတာသွားပြီး ရထားလက်မှတ်ဖြတ်စီးရုံပါပဲ။
