ရန်ကုန်မှာ Ed Visa လျှောက်နည်း
If you apply for an Ed visa in Yangon, you will need to request the following documents from the school you have applied to in Thailand.
Documents to be issued by the school
- Recommendation letter
- Student ID card copy
- Tuition fee receipt copy
- Director ID card
- GPA
- Timetable
The documents are not fixed. There may be slight differences depending on the school you apply to.
After receiving the necessary documents from the school, you can start processing the documents to provide for the embassy.
Required documents at the embassy -
- Online booking (can also be shown by email, can also be printed out)
- Application Form (two passport photos)
- Visa fee - USD $80
- Bank Statement - 20 lakhs
- Copy of Flight Ticket
- Passport original and copy passports
- Copy of registration
- Copy of a household chart
- Certificate of acquittal (relevant police station)
Online booking
Get it here. Click on the link. One thing to be aware of here is that once the booking is completed, it cannot be canceled. You can get a new one only after the date you took it has passed. When you enter the embassy, you can print the voucher and take it with you, or you can show the email from your phone.
Application form
You can print and fill out the Visa Application form in advance. You can get the form here. Click on the link to attach to the form. You will need 2 photos of (3.5cm x 4.5cm) size with a white background.
Visa fee
If you don't already have USD $80 for the visa fee, find it in advance. It's hard to find/expensive when it's close to the appointment date.
Bank Statement
The next step is to update the Bank Statement and Bank Book. You must have at least 20 lakhs in the bank. Unless you are under 18 years of age, you must have a bank account in your name. Any bank. Bank statement for the last 3 months. It's fine if you have the Bank Statement and Bank Book issued 3-5 days before entering the embassy. Take the original bank statement file and copy the first and last pages of the updated bank book.
Flight Ticket
This is Myanmar National Airline's website. Click on the link. Some Myanmar Payments are accepted. This is Fly Myanmar's website. Click on the link. You can pay with Myanmar Payment. Print out the tickets and take them with you.
The rest of the documents are fine. The visa can be issued 2 working days after entering the embassy.

Online booking
ဒီမှာသွားယူပါ။ လင့်နှိပ်ရန်။ ဒီမှာ သတိထားရမှာတစ်ခုက ဘိုကင်ယူပြီးသွားရင် ပြန် cancel လုပ်လို့ မရတော့ပါဘူး၊ ကိုယ်ယူထားတဲ့ ရက်ကျော်လွန်ပြီးမှ အသစ်ပြန်ယူလို့ ရမှာပါ။ သံရုံးဝင်ရင် ဘိုကင်ကို print နဲ့ ယူသွားလို့ ရသလို ဖုန်းထဲ့က email ကို ပြလို့လည်း ရပါတယ်။
Application form
Visa Application form ကို ကြိုတင် print ပြီးတော့ ဖြည့်ထားလို့ ရပါတယ်။ Form ဒီမှာ ယူလို့ရပါတယ်။ လင့်နှိပ်ရန်။ Form မှာ ကပ်ဖို့ (3.5cm x 4.5cm) size နောက်ခံအဖြူနဲ့ ဓါတ်ပုံ ၂ ပုံ လိုပါမယ်။
Visa fee
ပြီးတော့ visa fee အတွက် USD $80 မရှိသေးရင် ကြိုတင် ရှာထားပါ။ ရက်နီးရင် ရှာရခက်/ ဈေးကြီးတတ်လို့ပါ။
Bank Statement
နောက်တစ်ခုက Bank Statement နဲ့ Bank Book update လုပ်ရမှာပါ။ Bank ထဲမှာ သိန်း ၂၀ အနည်းဆုံး ရှိနေရပါမယ်။ အသက် ၁၈ နှစ်အောက်ကလွဲရင် ကိုယ့်အမည်ပေါက်နဲ့ bank account ဖြစ်ရပါမယ်။ ဘယ် ဘဏ်ပဲဖြစ်ဖြစ် ရပါတယ်။ Bank Statement ကိုတော့ ပြီးခဲ့တဲ့ ၃ လစာလောက် ထုတ်ခဲ့ရင် ရပါတယ်။ Bank Statement နဲ့ Bank Book ကိုတော့ သံရုံးမဝင်ခင် ၃-၅ အတွင်း ထုတ်ထားရင် အဆင်ပြေပါတယ်။ Bank Statement original file ကို ယူသွားပါ၊ update လုပ်ထားတဲ့ bank book ကိုတော့ ရှေ့ဆုံး နာမည်၊ account no. ပါတဲ့စာမျက်နှာနဲ့ နောက်ဆုံး စာမျက်နှာကို copy ယူသွားပါ။
